Wellcome Trust The Wellcome Trust is the largest charity in the UK. It funds innovative biomedical research, in the UK and internationally, spending around £600 million each year to support the brightest scientists with the best ideas. The Wellcome Trust also supports public debate about biomedical research and its impact on health and wellbeing.
Scottish Government The Scottish Government is responsible for most of the issues of day-to-day concern to the people of Scotland, including health, education, justice, rural affairs, and transport. The Office of the Chief Scientific Adviser runs a science engagement grants scheme, designed to get the public more involved and interested in science. This exhibit has been one of the selected projects to inspire the public about science issues and opportunities.
Both the Wellcome Trust and the Scottish Government are main supporters of this exhibit.
